近日，現任國際足聯主席因凡蒂諾給“世界足球起源地”臨淄來信啦！
2016年2月26日，詹尼·因凡蒂諾當選新任國際足聯主席。臨淄區委書記宋振波、區長白平和第一時間向因凡蒂諾發去賀信，不久，因凡蒂諾發來了回信，以示感謝。信中寫道：“我計劃于適當的時間親往拜訪這片美麗的土地，領略足球起源地的魅力！”
以下為因凡蒂諾回信全文（中英）：
尊敬的宋書記：
尊敬的白區長：
很高興收到二位2016年3月1日的來信，信中就我當選國際足聯主席一事表示祝賀，在此，我表示誠摯的感謝！
二位的關懷與鼓勵令我非常感動！對于二位的支持與信任，我非常看重，請你們放心，我將傾盡所能，力求達成下述核心使命：讓足球重返國際足聯，讓國際足聯復歸足球——以此重建國際足聯的聲譽與公信，重燃我們的信心與驕傲！
毋庸置疑，唯有依托競技比賽這個最優平臺，國際足聯方可再綻光彩；誠能如此，我們才得以向外界傳遞那些與我們的核心使命密不可分的崇高信條：發展足球運動，讓足球感動世界，用足球構筑更為美好的未來。
中國足球正在崛起。在這里，足球運動擁有無限強大的潛力！基于此，我計劃于適當的時間親往拜訪這片美麗的土地，領略足球起源地的魅力！

I was delighted to receive your message of congrantulations on my election as FIFA President dated 1 March 2016 and would like to send you my heartfelt thanks。
I was truly touched by your kind thoughts and encouragement。 You can rest assured that I am very aware of your support and your trust， and I will foucus all of my energy into pursuing my core missions， which are to bring football back to FIFA and FIFA back to football， to restore our reputation and our credibility， to bring back confidence and pride to our organisation。
There is no doubt that our competitions are the best platform frome which we can bring back the lustre to the name of FIFA and convey the noble values that are integral to our mission： to develop the game， touch the world and build a better future。
Football in China is on the rise。 China is a country where football has a tremendous potential for growth and development.That is why I plan to visit your beatiful country as well as Football’s city of origin as soon as my schedule permits。
